Howrah Welfare Trust is a Charitable Organization established in the year 2000 in Howrah with the prime motive of supplying fresh drinking water in Howrah & selected areas of West Bengal. But its activities have now been diversified to a great extent.
Radhakunj, Gangasagar
It was a dream for Howrah Welfare Trust to serve the Pilgrims visiting the Holy
Place of Gangasagar during the Annual Holy Bath Fair where Millions of People gather to
take a Holy Dip in the Ganges. The Foundation Brick was layed in 2005 in a land of 7 Bighas
within 2 years, Radhakunj was ready to host its first Gangasgar Mela Shivir and it was
hugely successful in serving almost 10000 Pilgrims who had taken shelter there and availed
of all the services provided by the Trust there.
Not only during the Mela, Radhakunj welcomes the Pligrims of Gangasagar 12
Months and is whole heartedly dedicated to serve them with the Best of services.
Howrah Welfare Trust has recently purchased a land of almost 14 Cottahs at Benaras Road, Howrah with the prime motive of providing Parking space to its Water Tank Vehicles but it plans to build a Multi-Purpose Building with a Community Hall and various other services.
